Valloire is located in the heart of Savoie more precisely in the Maurienne Valley and benefits from an easy access thanks to its train and bus stations at the foot of the Col du Télégraphe. The 150 km of slopes of all levels allow the practice of all forms of sliding; Cross country ski trails await lovers of tranquility. Thanks to 400 snowguns, skiing is provided from December to the end of April. Every year, Valloire organizes an international snow and ice sculpture competition, a real local event.
